I stayed in one of the Rv's and we took it from Anchorage to Kenai and then on to Homer. Had a wonderful time and caught a 50ld and 80lb Halibut that I had shipped home. It is yummy. I recommend RVing in Alaska and will do it again. Pete, the owner of the place is a funny guy and a native Alaskan. He knows all the good places to go and see. Thanks Pete.

I JUST FINISHED BOOKING OUR RV WITH PETE AT B&B AND HE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE FLEXIBLE AND EASY TO DEAL WITH. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL RV TRIPS IN AK AND HAVE BEEN A LITTLE FRUSTRATED IN THE PAST WITH Inflexible PICKUP AND Drop off TIMES AND HAVING TO WAIT IN LINE TO WATCH THE SAME VIDEO EVERY YEAR. NOT TO MENTION THE TIMES OUR RV WAS NOT READY OR THEY WANT TO CHARGE YOU FOR EVERY LITTLE THING LIKE TP AND TOWELS. IF B&B CONTINUES TO GIVE ME THE SERVICE THEY HAVE SHOWN SO FAR WE WILL NEVER SHOP AROUND FOR AN RV AGAIN. SEE YOU IN JUNE B&B. DENNIS-DULUTH MN

B&B RV was great! Pete was amazingly accommodating, digging Minnie the Winnie out of the snow for us to take for three weeks into Valdez to ski.

The RV allowed for amazing flexibility to sleep where we wanted (Thompson Pass was too cold, so we often spent the night at a lower elevation), save $$ by cooking our own meals, and hang out after skiing to play cards, watch movies, etc...

Perhaps winter isn't the most comfortable time to be RVing, but it was exactly what we were looking for! Thanks Pete and B&B!

When we planned our first RV trip to Alaska this year in May, we compared a lot of RV rentals. Finally we decided us for BNB Rv. The reasons were that the pricing was very evident (no hidden and adding up add-on costs) and also the price was unbeatable cheap. Open questions and concerns were answered by Pete to our satisfaction and he was also very obligeant regarding scheduling an early pick-up of the RV with no extra cost. After arriving in Anchorage we first were a little concerned about the RV (was not the latest model), but it looked good and well maintained. This impression was confirmed during the whole cruise, the RV did really good. Coming closer and closer to the end of our trip we figured that our plan (driving Denali-Anchorage in 5h to arrive there on 11:00am) is not feasible. Talking to Pete in this regards he also was very flexible and obligeant to us (we arrived some hours later). Overall we (2adults + 2children) were very satisfied with BNB RV and their customer care!!! So we can definitively recommend Pete and his crew to anybody. Thank you Pete again for everything.

I shopped the Anchorage rental RV market and moved my reservation from a “national chain” to Pete’s BNB RV. Now that the trip is in the rear view mirror, I can say there were no regrets.

Some of the things I enjoyed most were:

Pick up and return to the Anchorage airport
    Pet friendly
Fully stocked RV (except for food and paper goods, which I expected to buy)
    Pet friendly
    Great price with no add-ons
    Pet friendly
Immediate response to one minor issue
    Well maintained RV
Did I mention they are very pet friendly?

Pete will get my business every summer.

We rented an RV from Pete in May. It was an older model but we didn't have one problem. We even had a new memory foam mattress and it was heaven sleeping and looking at the mountains from our bed. We loved Pete's son, he picked us up and took us back to the airport. Very nice young man and so very helpful. Pete couldn't have been more helpful in his emails and phone calls. There were no hidden charges anywhere. The price he quoted (which was very good) was the price charged with everything included. I would rent from this company again and again.

We brought our kids to Alaska for a trip in May and rented from B&B. Must say it was the best experience we have ever had with a rental company. Very helpful staff, and VERY clean unit. The fact that its family owned and run is the best. It gives you that warm feeling of people you can trust. And the "one price includes all" was the best. No nickle and diming here!! What your quoted is what you pay. We will definately rent again from Pete. Thanks for the great time in Alaska and you will be see our family again!!

We were visiting family in Valdez in May. When planning a family 5-day outing to the Kenai we decided to try the RV route to give us flexibility in where we could stay without the need to be at a specif place at a designated time. The 30 foot RV that we rented from B&B was a 2002 model that was trouble free and quite comfortable for three adults and two kids 1 & 3 years old. We drove a rental car from Valdez to B&B. Left the car at their return lot and had no problems in the well lighted lot. Picked up the kids at Whittier and enjoyed the Kenai. On the way back, we dropped kids off at Whittier to catch the ferry. We continued back to Anchorage and were welcomed by Pete who told us that we were welcome to spend our last night in their lot so we could catch and early flight out. These guys run a really relaxed operation that included lots of amenities (like bedding, dishes etc.) that others charge big time for. Will surely rent from them on the next trip. RV/gas cheaper than hotel route for sure.

My family and I rented and RV from Pete at the end of May. It was definitely one the greatest trips we ever took! The price was right, and the service was great. Pete was very helpful with any questions I had,and I had a lot of them being a first time RV'er. The pick up and drop off at the airport was real convenient. Hopefully I will get back to Alaska again, I will definitely rent from B&B!

My wife and I just got back in August from our eleven-day Alaska trip. There we several days of bad weather when we went, so having the RV was probably the best part of the trip. We went to Denali first and there was a lot of rain; a lot of people with tents seemed to pack up and leave early. Before this I had never driven an RV before, and was a little apprehensive about renting because I didn't know much about BNB RV but it really worked out well. We also saved a lot of money over one of the more common rental companies up there (I'd better not say who they are but they had their website all over their RV units, you'll know what I mean when you get there!) Having the utensils - chairs - sleeping bags - towels - etc was great; I think we used just about everything provided.

Such a small blog devoted to such a big subject for me! I think RV rental is one of the most under-utilised tourism tools in the world ... people see it as expensive, but compared to staying in a hotel every night, RV rental is an absolute bargain. You’re right, you get to see the area at your own pace, stay in much cheaper places, have the convenience of cooking, sleeping and being indoors wherever you like. Alaska and bigger, more rural tourism areas are best suited, of course. You need to take some precautions with insurance, etc - but this is the same with any holiday.
